Outstanding Resident of the Year

This award recognizes outstanding contributions to the residence hall community by a resident. Two awards will be given out each year: one for a student living in one of the residence hall areas (Gateway Heights, Chapel Glen, Sage Point, or Officers Circle) and one for a student living in one of the apartment-style housing areas (Benchmark Plaza or Shoreline Ridge).

Daniel E. Adams Award for Oustanding Service to Residential Education

The Daniel E. Adams Award was designed to recognize distinguished student leadership and outstanding contributions to Residential Education while serving the University of Utah residence hall community over a several year period. This award was created in honor of the 33 years of service to the Office of Residential Living, now known as Housing & Residential Education, by former Assistant Vice President Daniel E. Adams.
