Candidates for the Chartwells Emerging Leaders Scholarship must demonstrate leadership potential through previous high school or University campus experiences. We strongly encourage those not currently living on campus to apply.
During the year they receive the scholarship, recipients will be expected to be active in continuing leadership skills development (taking a leadership development class, being involved in RHA, serving in a student leader position). If they fulfill the scholarship responsibilities they will be eligible to reapply for second year for the scholarship.
The Chartwells Emerging Leaders Scholarship is a one-year scholarship covering up to the cost of a double room and Plan 19 Meal Plan in Heritage Commons On Campus Housing. The available scholarships are to be awarded annually to incoming First-Time students or sophomore level students.
