RHA Student Involvement Boards
There are many different ways to get involved with RHA. The Residence Halls Association has six different boards that you can be a part of:
The Programming Board provides programs and activities that will enhance residents’ personal and academic development. The programs are totally student planned, and you could be a part of it!
The Media and Marketing Board is responsible for all marketing materials for events and programs as well as maintaining the website. Become a part of this board to increase your knowledge of computer design programs, or just learn about them in general!
The Partnership and Advocacy Board will have forums for open discussion to address community and individual concerns and will support student initiatives. One major role of this board is to recognize what students living on campus need, and figuring out the best way to advocate for the residents. They will also be forming partnerships with other organizations across campus.
The Diversity and Social Justice Board is in place to protect the interest of residents regardless of race, class, ethnicity, ability, sex, gender identity, creed, nationality, sexual orientation, and other diverse qualities in the residence hall community. They also have a social justice library that residence can check books out of for free!
The National Residence Halls Honorary is an honors society for the top ten percent of residents. It is a service based organization designed to give residents more service opportunities. It has expanded to also include leadership, recognition, and academics. You must apply to be a part of NRHH.
The First Year Student Board is all about programming and advocacy for first year students.
Green/Sustainability - The Green/Sustainability board strives to protect our environment and to strengthen the green movement within the residence halls.
