The Patricia W. Child Health & Wellness Tower was created to develop students who will transform the future of health care in the United States. This community seeks to approach health and wellness holistically by uniting students with interests in all areas of the health care profession such as future nurses, social workers, physicians, administrators, and more. This community will work closely with the University of Utah Interprofessional Education program which brings students together to develop health competencies and work together to brainstorm solutions for complex problems. Diverse representation is critically important in the health profession, and this community is created with the intent of supporting access for historically marginalized groups. If you have an interest in health, care practices, and the way they intersect in the community—the Patricia W. Child Health & Wellness Tower is for you.
