The Upper Division Housing Application opens on November 3!
Upper-division students begin applying in Housing U in CIS. Complete the application by filling out personal information and paying the $130 application fee. Please note that your reservation time will be determined when you complete your application.
NOTE: If you have already paid the application fee from a previous application, there will be no application fee assessed.

Class at 9:00 a.m. and snowboarding with friends at 1:00 p.m.? Yes! Choose your preferred community and enjoy the perks of living on campus.
Dining
All matriculated University of Utah students with an active student ID number now have access to purchase meal plans in the Housing U Portal through CIS, whether they live on campus or not. Log into your account and select the term and dining plan you want to purchase!

In September 2024, the U’s Board of Trustees approved the first $155 million project in a long-term student housing initiative. Phase 1, the first building under construction just south of Kahlert Village, will add 1,446 beds to campus in a 6-story residence hall with approximately 349,342 square feet designed for first year and upper-division students.
