The Peterson Heritage Center
The Peterson Heritage Center (PHC) is the main dining location for Heritage Commons, which is where the majority of our residence halls are located. The PHC houses the Peterson Dining Room, the all-you-care-to-eat buffet and second-largest eatery on campus, as well as the Crimson Corner.
Peterson Dining Room
At the Peterson Dining Room, students have access to a salad bar, cereal bar, pizza, a grill that provides hamburgers and fries, a stir-fry station, a more traditional homestyle station, dessert station, and a G8 station where the food is cooked without the eight most common allergens. Students will use one meal tap per visit to the Peterson Dining Room and are welcome to stay for as long as they like and eat as much as they care to eat.
Crimson Corner is a small convenience store in the lobby of the PHC. In addition to hygiene products and snacks, Crimson Corner also provides Starbucks espresso drinks and larger food items. Students may use their flex dollars to make food and product purchases.
Gardner Commons Food Court
Located on the first floor of Gardner Commons, the Gardner Food Court offers three dining stations: a Revolve station that hosts pop-up versions of restaurants in Salt Lake City, Absurd Bird, where students can purchase southern-style chicken and side dishes, and Rooted in Good Taste, which offers healthy vegan and vegetarian options. Students can use their flex dollars here!
England Hub Bistro
Located in the Health Sciences Education Building on the Medical Campus, "The Hub" offers made-to-order breakfast and lunch options, as well as freshly brewed coffee and tea.
Marriott Honors Market
The Marriott Honors College (MHC) houses the Honors Market, which is similar to Crimson Corner. Starbucks coffee and convenience store items are available to purchase, but the Honors Deli is unique to the Honors Market. Students may use Flex Dollars at the Honors Market and Deli.
The Union Building
The Union Building is located in central campus and houses both the Union Food Court and Crimson View restaurant. Students are able to use their Flex Dollars at both locations.
The Union Food Court
Inside the Union Building on the first floor, there's a large food court that offers pizza, subs, salads, burgers, Mexican food, and name brand options like Panda Express, Jamba Juice, and Einstein Bros' Bagels. The Food Court is open Monday - Friday, hours vary by restaurant. Students can use their Flex Dollars here!
Crimson View, on the 4th floor of the Union, offers stunning views of the Salt Lake City skyline with excellent dining options. Crimson View is available for reservations and catering.
The Marriott Library
The Marriott Library houses Mom's Cafe and Mom's Pantry on its second floor, right across the hall from each other. Mom's Cafe offers to-go items like F'real shakes, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and specialty coffees. Mom's Pantry offers plenty of snacks to satisfy any craving, plus lunch options. Students can use their Flex Dollars at both locations.
Shake Smart is located in the Student Life Center. Students can spend their Flex Dollars on acai bowls, specialty shakes, cold brew coffee, sandwiches, wraps, and oatmeal. Shake Smart also offers gluten-free, lactose-free, and vegan-friendly options.
Kahlert Village is home to the largest eatery on campus, Urban Bytes, plus a coffee and pastry shop called City Edge Cafe! Students can use meal taps to eat at Urban Bytes and flex dollars to pick up quick eats at City Edge Cafe.
Urban Bytes has over a half-dozen dining options, all just a meal tap away. Students can purchase items from The Nook, all-day breakfast; Carrots, the salad bar; 500 Degrees, oven-fired pizza; the Taqueria, tacos and other Mexican food options; the G8 Station, food without any of the top 8 most common allergens; Mongolian Grill, with personalized stir fry; and The Game, the sports grill that serves as a late-night option.
City Edge Cafe
Students can grab a coffee, pastries, and retail purchases with their flex dollars at City Edge Cafe. The Cafe is located on the first floor of Kahlert Village, just next door to Urban Bytes.
Lassonde Studios is a residence hall located on central campus. It houses a creative workspace that's open to all students, as well as Miller Cafe and Acai Bowls on the first floor!
Miller Cafe is located in the lobby of Lassonde Studios. Students can use both their Flex Dollars and meal transfers to purchase grill food, sandwiches, salads, flatbreads, smoothies, and more! The Miller Cafe Market also houses snack items similar to Crimson Corner.
The Hive is a late-night option in Heritage Commons. It offers pizza, pasta, sandwiches, and wings. It accepts both transfer meals and Flex Dollars!
