It's always a good idea to plan what you're bringing to campus with you. Good news! We've created a packing list for you! Be sure to check out the full list of items not allowed in on-campus housing here.

Sample Move-In Packing List

To help with the transition to your new home, residents can begin mailing packages to campus on August 9 for fall semester. Some residence hall mailrooms are closed over summer and are unable to process mail and packages, so items may be lost if mailed too far in advance.

Packages that are mailed too early will be returned to sender. We highly encourage you to wait to mail any furniture or large items until after you arrive on campus and settle into your space.

We CANNOT guarantee mail processing if the given mailing address is incorrect. To confirm your correct mailing address and formatting, please see our Desk & Mail Services. Information on setting up your package locker system account will be shared via email prior to your move-in date.

The Student Housing Guide is a great resource for all students preparing to move on campus. It contains great information about our policies, transportation options for residents, information about meal plans, mail and packages, and more! Be sure to review this document prior to moving in this fall!
